This blog is in response to the growing importance of a personal brand. For a marketing professional to not have a blog and participate in social media is to admit that they have made a decision to stay put, rely on the past methods and seek some sort of plausible deniability that marketing has changed or is changing. Images of anĀ ostrich come to mind.
This blog indicates that I have made a decision and what that decision is.

Stephen,
I don’t think anyone could ever accuse you of staying put. I am looking forward to reading your thoughts, analysis, and general whatever.
Welcome to the party.
Pretty much my sentiments when I finally decided to get off my butt and put together my site.
